  • Lesson plan outlines: structuring a topic into learning objectives, activities, and timing. AI produces a solid scaffold in seconds; you adjust it to your class's actual level and context.

What AI cannot do in educational contexts

  • Guarantee factual accuracy: verify any specific claims, dates, or examples AI includes in educational content — especially for history, science, and current events.
  • Replace pedagogical judgment: the sequence, pace, and depth of a unit still requires your knowledge of the class. AI produces material; you decide what and when to teach.
  • Detect academic integrity issues in student work: AI detection tools have high false positive rates and are not reliable for disciplinary decisions.
